Bronze Plates & Sheets
Flat bronze products in phosphor bronze and aluminum bronze grades for wear plates, tooling and formed parts.
Overview
Bronze plate and sheet are used where a flat product is needed – wear plates, liners, formed components, tooling and structural bronze parts. Listed grades include the phosphor bronzes C51000, C51900, C52100 and C54400 and the aluminum bronzes C63000, C95400 and C95800.
Product-form availability varies by grade. C95400 and C95800 plate are marked as subject to confirmation on this site.

Grades and product combinations
Each combination has its own detail page with material notes, inquiry form and related grades.
Phosphor Bronze Plate — C51000A general-purpose wrought phosphor bronze with about 5% tin, valued for its combination of strength, fatigue resistance, formability and corrosion resistance.View details →
Phosphor Bronze Plate — C51900A phosphor bronze with a higher tin range than C51000, selected for greater strength and wear resistance in bushings, fasteners and spring parts.View details →
Phosphor Bronze Plate — C52100A high-tin wrought phosphor bronze offering greater hardness, strength and wear resistance than C51000 or C51900.View details →
Phosphor Bronze Plate — C54400A leaded, free-machining phosphor bronze developed for high-speed screw-machine production of bushings, bearings and fittings.View details →
Aluminum Bronze Plate — C63000A high-strength wrought aluminum bronze (with nickel and iron) for heavy-duty bushings, wear parts, valve components and marine hardware.View details →
Aluminum Bronze Plate — C95400Availability subject to confirmationView details →
Nickel Aluminum Bronze Plate — C95800Availability subject to confirmationView details → Available forms
- Plate (thicker flat product)
- Sheet and strip (thinner gauges) – subject to confirmation
- Cut-to-size and machined plates – subject to confirmation
- Discs and circular blanks – subject to confirmation
Plate and sheet terminology varies by standard and region. State the thickness, width, length and tolerance you need rather than relying on a label.
Selection considerations
- Phosphor bronze grades are usually supplied as rolled sheet, strip and plate; aluminum bronze plate availability depends on the alloy and thickness.
- Temper and flatness requirements strongly affect forming and machining behaviour.
- State the governing specification and certificate type required.
- Where plate in a cast grade is required, the product route (cast, machined or rolled) needs confirmation.
Typical applications
- Wear plates and liners
- Springs, clips and formed parts
- Electrical and engineering hardware
- Tooling plates and fixtures
- Marine and offshore components
Application areas are examples only. Grade suitability must be confirmed for the actual operating environment.
