Bronze compression fittings with ferrule seals for tube connections without brazing or soldering.
Overview
A compression fitting seals tube by tightening a nut that drives a ferrule (or olive) onto the tube against a body seat. The ferrule deforms slightly to grip and seal the tube, so the joint can be made without heat.
Compression fittings are designed for a given tube outside diameter, wall thickness and material. Interchangeability between makers is not assumed; do not mix parts from different designs without verification.

Compression connection principles
The body, nut and ferrule form a system. Torque and tube preparation (square cut, deburred, correctly inserted) determine joint quality.
Tube outside diameter requirements
Tube OD and tolerance must match the fitting. Provide tube material, OD and wall thickness on the inquiry.
Ferrule and sealing considerations
Ferrule material (often brass or bronze, sometimes other alloys) and design determine sealing. Re-use of ferrules after disassembly may not be permitted by the fitting design.
Compatible tube materials
Copper and certain other soft tube materials are typical partners. Hard or thin-wall tubes may require inserts or alternative fittings – check design guidance.
Operating conditions and limitations
