Product overview
C95800 plate is subject to product-form availability and must be confirmed with the company; a machined-from-casting or alternative route may apply.
C95800 is the cast nickel-aluminum bronze (NAB) most often associated with marine engineering. Controlled additions of nickel, iron and manganese on an aluminum-bronze base give a combination of strength, toughness and resistance to corrosion and cavitation in sea water that few copper alloys can match.
It is widely used for propellers, pump and valve bodies, seawater piping components and fittings and other parts in sea-water handling. The alloy depends on proper foundry practice and, in many cases, heat treatment to achieve the intended microstructure – so documentation and inspection matter for critical parts.

Material identification
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|

Where it is used
- Sea-water pump and valve bodies
- Marine fittings and pipe components
- Propellers and thruster components (as cast parts)
- Heat-exchanger and offshore hardware
- Heavy-duty bushings and wear parts
Machining and fabrication
Machinable but tough; use rigid setups and appropriate tooling. Welding and repair of NAB follow specific qualified procedures, often with post-weld heat treatment.
Forms and sizes
- Plate (thicker flat product)
- Sheet and strip (thinner gauges) – subject to confirmation
- Cut-to-size and machined plates – subject to confirmation
- Discs and circular blanks – subject to confirmation
Plate and sheet terminology varies by standard and region. State the thickness, width, length and tolerance you need rather than relying on a label. Do not rely on this page for dimensions, tolerances or stock.
