Bronze Flanges
C95800 Nickel Aluminum Bronze Flanges
The principal cast nickel-aluminum bronze for sea-water service, valued for strength with strong resistance to corrosion, cavitation and erosion.
Product overview
C95800 flanges are considered for marine and offshore piping. Pressure class, facing and drilling should be stated by drawing or standard and confirmed with the company.
C95800 is the cast nickel-aluminum bronze (NAB) most often associated with marine engineering. Controlled additions of nickel, iron and manganese on an aluminum-bronze base give a combination of strength, toughness and resistance to corrosion and cavitation in sea water that few copper alloys can match.
It is widely used for propellers, pump and valve bodies, seawater piping components and fittings and other parts in sea-water handling. The alloy depends on proper foundry practice and, in many cases, heat treatment to achieve the intended microstructure – so documentation and inspection matter for critical parts.

Material identification
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| UNS designation | C95800 |
| Material | Nickel-Aluminum Bronze (Marine Grade) |
| Alloy family | Nickel Aluminum Bronze |
| Alloy type | Cast copper-aluminum-nickel-iron-manganese alloy |
